Your chamber is a non–profit organization comprised of more than 200 local business members and is recognized around the globe as an advocate for small businesses.  Small businesses are at the economic heart of a community that serves the people who support them.

As a member you can take advantage of the many benefits, some of which include:

The ability to display your business literature at the tourist information booths in both the Greenport and Laurel locations.

  • Opportunity to meet and network with fellow business members each month at dinner meetings that provide informative speakers for business owners.
  • Opportunity for advertisement through sponsorship of our monthly newsletter, in addition to your business name and profile, and additional advertising on our website.
  • Receipt of the Chamber’s newsletter which keeps you informed of events that The North Fork Chamber is involved in, as well as other community and business news.


We write and receive grants for downtown revitalization projects.  We purchase, maintain, and donate to town beautification items for holidays throughout the year. We donate funds to our youth organizations and award scholarships to each of our area schools.  We assist other organizations which complement our Chamber’s mission.   We are proud sponsors of community events which bring together our residents, tourists and businesses.   We invite you to be part of it all!

Membership dues are $125.00 per year, with additional listing/categories at $62.50.

The Peconic Land Trust is offering a workshop on creating compost for the home garden.  Led by Frank Arnold and Sandra Menasha of Cornell Cooperative Extension, you’ll develop an understanding of the ingredients needed to make it nutrient-rich and discover why compost is considered gardener’s gold.

The Peconic Land Trust will offer a 4-part workshop series focused on the herb garden, led by herbalist and biologist Heather Cusack. Learn about the medicinal, culinary, cosmetic and historical uses of some common wild and cultivated herbs, like Echinacea, lavender, sage, rosemary, basil and parsley. You will leave knowing the basics of using herbs in cooking, medicines, salves and creams - plus take home your own herb plant. Series dates include June 14, July 25 and August 15, reserve your space today!
